FOR EXAMPLE: one has a terrible toothache. the gums are swelling, the jaw is swelled, there is definite infection. one can barely function, with the extreme pain and pressure building up in the gums and jaw.
WHY IS THIS NOT CONSIDERED HEALTHCARE.....WHY must there be a separate and jaundiced policy........known as DENTAL INSURANCE??
HERE is an example to help understand :
My TOENAIL, got torn off my foot, my foot hurts bad and is becoming infected. SOO, I make a DR's appointment,.............it is considered HEALTHCARE, a part of my coverered insurance plan.
that's a lousy toenail.....So..Do I need TOENAIL insurance?
.....A TOOTH....is so important, not only to one's health, but to one's self esteem
i hope someone will read this, feel the same as me...perhaps we can help change this .
WHY 2 policies?? FYI..the best dental coverage............will max AT 2K PER YEAR.......
THAT BUYS 1/2 A CROWN AFTER A 3K ROUTE CANAL.
SOMETHING IS VERY NOT FAIR.
I DO VOLUNTEER WORK AT A LOCAL HOSPITAL, THERE ARE ELDERLY PATIENTS THERE.........
THEY CANNOT EAT, THEY DON'T WANT TO SMILE......BECAUSE THEY HAD TO HAVE TEETH PULLED, BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT AFFORD TO HAVE THEIR TEETH FIXED.
yet, yet...........THE HOSPITALS AND DRS..ARE SUCKING THEM DRY.
I KNOW THE REASON, I WOULD JUST LIKE TO UNDERSTAND ...why???

it is bad enough getting old...people who have worked all their lives............

i have seen it with war heroes, everyday people.
they let the teeth rot......
to care for a tooth costs 3 thousand dollars.
it is not fair.
someone needs to help change this pitiful system.

i could make a crown on my old vacuform..i wish i had saved it.
it is very simple to make a crown!
it is just as simple to make an impression.
let me put this into prospective:

perhaps a custom sink would be 500 dollars?
the sink is made from a mold.
a dental crown is made from a mold.
why is a tinsy dental crown....1k plus?
like i said........if Health Insurance covers a person's bottom...AKA anus, colon.
